The week flew by and here it is – the next screenshot. You can see the bowels of one of the glass mines owned by Drene Riskel, Count of Virned. All the entrances and exits are strictly guarded by battle mages and legionnaires.
But what is that!? Despite everything, a khajiit managed to get into the mine and now he’s silently sneaking up to the guard!
Perhaps, you would like to be on this khajiit’s place and maybe you wish you could have a look at the “factory” of Andoran Team? But how to implement it? One can improve the sneak skill… And you can just visit andoran.com tomorrow from 6:00 a. m. to 6:00 p. m. Greenwich Time!
Just for you, work on the stels-system and Andoran locations will be broadcast live by some of our team members. You can make the acquaintance of each of them due to the free chat and to see the development process with your own eyes. Have you ever wanted to join our project, but you doubted? Now you can know us better and to make a decision! Visit us, talk to us, join our friendly team!
Andoran can be your project too!

Serving the legion in the remote corners of Andoran isn't easy. Especially when you have a dense forest at one hand and a break and swamp at another.

Barnwill is a backveld village on the western shore of Andoran.
Surrounded by the lush and dangerous Shadow forest overland and by equally dangerous, full of underwater rocks Sea of Sharks, now it is dwelled only by humble woodcutters and rice growers.

This is a street of Litur, city established by Dunmers about 300 years ago. Litur is situated on the rocky upland, far eastward of the capital city of Andoran.
If you haven't seen the creatures floating over the city, pay attention to the video
"Dunmer culture - Striders"!

Screen of the Week: Virned mines
21.09.2012
After a long break we're happy to present you a new podcast of our project.
Andoran: Prologue Podcast #4 (Voiceovers)
In addition, from this day forward and every week we'll
be sure to upload a new screenshot. With them you'll be
able to assess the extents of work done and see for
yourself that the game is developing and refining.
On the first two screenshots presented below you can see
the Miners Virned. The city appeared about thirty years
ago on the place of a mining camp, and now it is the
center of glass industry in Andoran.
As well as employees, the prisoners work in the mines,
sentenced for their crimes.
Yes, you saw it right - it's the same city on
screenshots, but during different weather. The weather,
by the way, depends during the season change.
On the third screenshot you can see a Fisherman's hut
near the Daedric ruins.
To find out who the Fisherman is, as well as learn the
geography and history of Andoran, you can read in the
publications, which are starting next week. Do not miss
them!

Even before the release of Skyrim, the Andoran team had
started workon transferring the
project to the new Creation Engine (file formatsof Oblivion and Skyrim are very similar). That
decision meant we wereable to
include things of which the Oblivion engine is
incapable, evenexpanding the
gameplay possibilities along the way. Here is a shortlist of the new things which the Creation engine
has allowed us to
implement:
- full-scale battles on land and sea (with the player
being able to participate);
- the possibility to buy every empty house;
- painting and making music;
- providing training to other characters;
- employing couriers who can travel anywhere on Andoran;
- renting rooms and houses for any length of time.
We have also introduced the system of Daedric Ratings
which will allow the environment and especially NPCs to
react more realistically to interactions with you.
Just to be clear, transferring the game to the TES V
engine doesn't imply that we will be using Skyrim's game
mechanics however. The role-playing system is closer to
that in TES III: Morrowind in point of fact.
